Well made first feature from director Paul Dano. He manages to give us a thoughtful and disturbing portrait of the disintegration of a marriage as seen through the married couples fourteen year old son.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan give wonderful performances. It's attention to 1960 Montana detail is impeccable.
