Some decent action sequences briefly distract from the bland plot. The cutesy superhero-about-town "comedy" does not. Throw in a crummy villain, hammy acting (Thewlis, all of the Amazons), paper thin supporting characters, not to mention this movie would fail miserably at a male equivalent Bechdel test, and you have a big, dull, overrated dud.
