Review of Wrath of Man (2021) by Roberthoward — 05 Mar 2022

For a heist movie, Wrath of Man lacks the twists and turns and the likeable characters to root for. As a revenge movie, it is rather basic. In fact, it is strangely focused, which is normally not a trait of Ritchie movies - for better or worse.

There is still a general air of competence surrounding the production, which is most likely why it had a very split reception from the critics. But compared to Snatch or The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man only offers a rather straightforward action movie experience that is unremarkable.
