Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Mauricio R — 07 Dec 2018
This was a disappointing follow up of X-men Days of Future Past , I was hoping they would do some character development , not go in the direction of "oh no it's the end of the world again and we gotta save the day" Very formulaic and boring.
I liked Magneto's story line. The villain seemed like a joke. Also his henchmen were laugh out loud cheesy for example Olivia Munn's outfit. Yikes. Also I don't like Mystique as the hero, I liked her as a side kick to Magneto played by Rebecca Romijn.
Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique is just a bored Jennifer Lawrence in blue paint.
