Review of X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) by Raffaele A — 25 Jun 2018
The movies way of handling time travel is the main weird part about this X-Men iteration. But that doesn't change the fact that this is one of the best movies of the series. All characters act at their absolute best, it's also refreshing to see a more mature Wolverine teaching young Charles and Eric one or two lessons.
The story goes it's usual ways focussing on topics like racism, fear of being different and revenge for said racism. But the famous Quicksilver scene isn't the only exciting thing about the plot.
Three words: multi level finale. Always a great thing (see: Inception).
