Review of Yesterday (2019) by Geraldspray — 26 Jan 2021
Don't be fooled by the title. This is a generic romantic comedy standing on the merit of Beatles songs. Strange camera techniques are occasionally used for no apparent reason, and I assume that the director was going for an indie look.
Unfortunately, nothing is done particularly new with the themes or characters, making this feel a whole lot more like a thinly-disguised studio film.
