Review of You Only Live Twice (1967) by Robert A — 06 Sep 2017

Quite a big-scale film with lots of impressive (and some not so impressive) effects and wonderful locations. Moreover the first where Blofeld's face is seen as he confronts Bond, and that's a plus.

We also have to endure a failed attempt to make Connery look Japanese, which is a minus. But the main drawback for me was that, even though the first act was quite intriguing, I found the story to be not as captivating as possible, and, you know, no matter how much hell breaks loose, that counts too.
