Not a typical thriller. Deals with a very dark and taboo subject matter. While some might think it a slow start, I thought it was brilliantly directed and the pace increased in tempo all the way through to the end.
Definitely stay with it. Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job as Joe. Well done.
