Review of Zombieland (2009) by Bobs — 08 Oct 2009
Not as good as Shaun of the Dead. However that was such a funny movie, that doesn't really matter. The only thing Zombieland is lacking is the zombies themselves. But that isn't a bad thing either.
Woody Harrelson's character comes off as a Mr. Burns type, but he develops into a sensitive one. Jesse Eisenberg is funny as a Star Trek nerd, Emma Stone gives a good performance, and I don't quite remember her name but the other girl is great too.
The ending is very generic, but the rest isn't. The funniest movie of the year so far, it's very much worth the 10 dollars to get in.
